Side Post Umbrella Stands
These umbrella stands are exclusively for mounting or positioning of side post umbrellas.
 | Freestanding Base - FSB The freestanding base is made of zinc plated, powder coated steel. The FSB is size adjustable and accepts 18" or 20" square concrete patio plocks up to 2 1/4" in thickness. The total weight required for safety must be 200 lbs. This equates to four (4) 50 pound patio blocks that can be found at most home improvement stores. This base is not available for the P-series side post umbrellas or lighted models. |
 | Ground Insert Base - GIB The ground insert base (GIB) is excellent for windy areas and mandatory for contract installations. The lower section is permanently installed in concrete. The umbrella support tube can be removed when not in use thereby minimizing any tripping hazard. All P-Series side post umbrellas come with a GIB by default but this base can be used with any side post umbrella (except lighted models). |
 | Deck Mount Base - DMB Our most popular base, the Deck Mount Base has a 10" plate that can be mounted quickly to any wooden deck made of 2" lumber or to any concrete patio. The umbrella support tube can be removed when not in use thereby minimizing any tripping hazard. The plate is made of cast aluminum with a bright finish for maximum corrosion resistance. This base can be used with any side post umbrella (except lighted models). |
 | Spa Base - SB The Spa Base is made from 1/8' steel with a corrosion resistant, exterior textured powder coating. The SB slides underneath the spa and is held in place by the weight of the spa when filled with water. This means there is no drilling necessary into the floor or deck where the spa is installed. The upright plate is fastened to the spa skirting for added stability. This base has a very small footprint and virtually eliminates the tripping hazard larger bases may present. Please note that this base may not work on some skirting styles and spas with a large lip around the top rim. Please email us to confirm compatibility with your spa. The spa base is only available for R and C Series umbrellas. |
 | Offset Base - OSB This offset base is made of zinc plated, powder coated steel and sits to only one side of the post unlike the FSB which has the blocks surrounding the post.. The OSB is size adjustable and accepts 18" or 20" square concrete patio plocks up to 2 1/4" in thickness. The total weight required for safety must be 400 lbs. This equates to eight (8) 50 pound patio blocks that can be found at most home improvement stores. This base is not available for the P-Series or lighted models. This base may require an additional charge. |
 | Freestanding Planter Base - FSB/P The Freestanding Planter Base (FSB/P) is made with a welded aluminum frame and measures 22" x 44" x 4". The FSB/P comes standard with a set of red cedar planters which need to be filled with drain rock or concrete for ballast. When filled to 2" below the rim, drain rock will provide approximately 400 lbs. of weight and concrete will provide approximately 600 lbs. of weight. The minimum weight required for a safe installation of this base is 400 lbs. Your plants can be placed in their own pots on top of the ballast for an attractive look. The FSB/P is only available for the P-Series side post umbrellas. |
